Lost Object "Camera"

My Partner Xiaotong Wang's Lost Object

It is not too heavy, quit light. it's my favorite color black. it feels so smooth when you touch it. it flashes when it wants to. I have carked it several times but it is still in very good condition. I used to tell secrets to it from time to time, I shared all my randomness, my thoughts to it.  it knows my ups and downs, my ideas. things like what  knows all my friends especially the ones that I am close to, the ones that I talk to nonstop-ply. it seems to be a small reflection of my life. it holds all my emotions and secrets and I felt that some parts of me and my life went along with it when I lost it. All the memories, the ups and downs, laughs and cries. videos of family and friends. Now I can only remember it from memories but memories don't last so long. It is small, not too fancy. colored in black. It is able to sign all the songs that I love to listen to  and show me all my favorite youtubers. I lost it on a Friday night after quarantine. it was so sudden that I didn't even have time to react.

Design Process

Large black rectangle with rounded edges for the body. Top edges would be slightly less round than bottom. Small yellow rectangle with rounded edges for the flash. Small light gray rectangle with very slightly rounded edges for the button on top of camera. Large gray circle for outside portion of the lens. Medium size circle for the inner part of lens. Small gray circle for very center part of lens.

Reflection

My partner described their object with a lot of meaning behind the words. I can tell it meant a lot to them. It was hard to determine what the object looked like so I tried to make my best guess and incorporate all of the descriptions given into my design. Since the objet held videos, secrets, emotions and had a flashing light I figured it must be a piece of technology. I designed a black camera, with a flash function. Its lens can capture emotions and video.
